Show Us Where You Live Friday

Kelly at Kelly's" Korner Blog has started a fun idea called "Show Us Where You Live Friday" Each Friday she is going to post pictures of a particular room in her house and she has invited all of her readers to do the same. So here it goes.

This Week: Entry Way and since I missed a couple of weeks somewhere inbetween you are going to get a tour of my laundry room, basement and master bedroom as well!!

Honestly our entry way is nothing special. We live in a pretty common split entry house. But here it is for your viewing pleasure!

And that is all there is too my entry way. Pretty boring right!! Now onto the master bedroom. This is a vase that I received from a very good friend at my bridal shower. Purple, as you know is my favorite color so I LOVE this vase!!


This is a view of my dresser. I really like my bedroom set. It is cherry finish. I have had all of these pieces since I was about 16. They are still in great condition.

This is actually a tox box that my dad had made for me when I was little. If you look really close you can see my name on it. The blanket that is lying across it was made by my grandmother, my mother's mother. She past away when I was nine.

This shows our bed. It is a sleigh bed. I absolutely love it! And my comforter is of course purple!! I found the set at Kohl's and it matches the stuff in the master bathroom.

We have two closets. Brian has one that is right next to our dresser. Here is a shot of that.

And my closet is by the master bathroom. It is a walk in closet but more like walk in and you'll get stuck and you will have no room to turn around! I hope to give it a makeover some day. I want to move the hanging rod on the left higher so that there can be two of them and I would like to make the right side shelves from floor to ceiling to store stuff that can be folded, towels and of course SHOES!!!

This is the gentlemen's chest. It houses our jeans and socks and all that stuff.

This is one of the only pictures that we have in our bedroom except for on the dresser. It is shots from our maternity session. I love these photos. I think I look so beautiful in them. I loved being pregnant!!


Okay so now on to our basement and laundry room. If you remember Brian loves the Simpsons. He has a bunch of collectible stuff. Here is a little showing of some of the stuff he has.
