Show Us Where You Live Friday

Kelly at Kelly's Korner Blog has started a fun idea called "Show Us Where You Live Friday" Each Friday she is going to post pictures of a particular room in her house and she has invited all of her readers to do the same. So here it goes.

This Week:
Garage and Yard

Our garage is nothing special. It is a two car garage that we try to keep very clean. We both park our cars in there!

This is my husband's bag. He will be very proud to know that I showed this to you all! Lauren is so cute with this too. When we get out of the car she will run up and smack it! She wants to be like her daddy. My little muay thai fighter. :)

This is the front of our house. It is very simple and we are planning on doing some landscaping. That is totally out of my element so I would love to hear some suggestions if you have any.

This a view of the back yard. We built this fence the year after we moved here. Actually my dad, my brother and Brian built it. I think they did a fantastic job!
More of the backyard. We have this little shed back there and we don't really use it. It was here when we moved in. I guess we could use it for storage but we don't really need it yet.

I love these trees along our fence line. Sadly they seem to be turning brown. Probably because they are right along the fence. But we didn't have any choice to put the fence there. That is the property line. The previous owners planted the trees right there. I didn't want to cut them down. They look so pretty in the winter when it snows.

This is the view from our front door. We have several trees on either side of our driveway. It is really nice.

Moore of the front yard. Kind of a view of the street that we live on. Which is a dead end, by the way, in case you were wondering!! :)

This tree was given to us as a house warming gift by a man that Brian used to work with. It has gotten alot bigger since we planted it three years ago. I think it is a peach tree. Honestly I don't remember. Sometimes it blooms with really pretty flowers.

Well that is my garage and my yard. Thanks for stopping by. I would love to hear what you think. I missed out the last couple of weeks so I will be posting about my laundry room/bonus room and the master bedroom this week so check back!

I love comments!

My name is Sonya and I am married to a wonderful man who is truly my best friend. I am the proud mommy of Lauren and our newest addition Colton! I love to cook, bake, read, scrapbook and I am a photography enthusiast. I also love to be around my large extended family. I have 4 nieces and 5 nephews.

Brian, is my wonderful loving husband. My best friend and the father of my children. He loves being a daddy, boxing, Muay Thai and working out.

Lauren is our 4 year old daughter. She loves her Daddy, running and being outside. She also is a big fan of "neighs" (horses). She amazes me everyday at all the new words that she can say and the new things she is learning. It blows my mind the things that she comes up with. She is such a great kid!

Colton, AKA, Little Man, is our newest addition to the family. He has brought us so much joy. Right now he loves to eat, sleep and is learning to walk. Colton was diagnosed with hip dysplasia at 6 weeks old and has been wearing a Pavlik Harness since 7 weeks. He wore the harness full time for 8 weeks and then part time for 6 weeks for a total of 14 weeks. Having hip dysplasia hasn't slowed him down one bit. He can crawl and has recently started walking
